SO, this is my fifth attempt (over two days) at writing and uploading this BLOG because the internet at school refuses to cooperate. I have now resorted to writing it in a Word Doc and hope that this program doesn’t decide to shut down too!
I have clearly been far too busy to post lately, but I figured I would do it now because I am sick of looking at my Law Paper and my Thesis (both due Friday). Last week was full of late-night study sessions in preparation for the Psychology GREs. On Saturday I went over to Wayne State University so I could write the strenuous 3hr exam. Afterwards we went exploring through Detroit...Fisher Theatre, Abandoned Homes and Churches, Old Train Station and we even got to walk the bases at the Old Tigers Stadium. It was a really fun day, and a nice change of pace after writing my exam.
I had been waiting ages to be able to shoot the Old Detroit Train Station and was finally granted the opportunity to do so on Saturday. After going through and editing my photos I realized that quite a few of them didn’t end up quite the way I wanted (ex. I wish I would have moved slightly to the left in that photo with the “Do Not Enter” sign...then it would not be covering any of the building, but rather stand slightly to the right of it. I guess I was just too “photo-happy” to take notice of that). Anyways, here are a few of my favourites from the day. I hope you enjoy.
